On the basis of the excavation, the anaerobic reactor formed by the bottom film and the top film is sealed using high quality HDPE Pond Plastic Sheet. In the black film anaerobic fermentation tank, under the action of microorganisms, the organic matter in the livestock and poultry breeding wastewater is converted into biogas. The system is equipped with livestock and poultry manure solid-liquid separator, biogas purification and utilization facilities and sludge collection and drying facilities. BPM manufactures and supplies HDPE Geomembrane lining material for a 32,000 square meterw covered lagoon biodigester for a palm oil mill in Malaysia. The lagoon was built to contain the wastewater from palm oil mills, which is used to generate alternative energy.
The use of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) liners as a covering material for anaerobic biodigester has good cost benefits and is therefore very popular in Southeast Asia. BPM HDPE geomembrane liner series is made by the advanced three-layer co-extrusion process which is even in thickness and quality stability. The HDPE geomembrane series is also flexible under moderate temperature conditions. At present, the multiaxial tensile property test of the gasket has been carried out under the high temperature condition of 40 ℃, and the test simulates the environment in which the methane collection floating cover is in practical application.

Our Malaysian customer selected BPM brand 1.5mm standard black smooth high-density polyethylene (HDPE) geomembrane to line and cover the constructed lagoon. The covered lagoon biodigester has a capacity of 32,000 cubic meters. The bottom of the lagoon is sealed with a waterproof liner (geomembrane) 1.0mm and covered with a HDPE liner of 1.5mm to capture and store the biogas produced during the anaerobic digestion of POME. And also under the geomembrane liner, client underlay geotextile as protection to avoid the sharp stone breaking the liner. After installation of the HDPE Pond Plastic Sheet, client also feedback the onsite photo with our team. And during the construction, client asked for the new requirement for next project of biogiester. And they want BPM to produce the geomembrane liner to be anti-static properties. In this case ,can avoid the risk of fire during the onsite have biogas and some flame. Our BPM R&D team tried some way in technology and provide clients sample for testing. It finally get approved from client and we are fully prepared for next project. For the special design of anti-static,we will extend to more clients of biodigester projects and reassure them for the guarantee of project safety.
